Get your swimwear on and your water slide out! After you’ve made the holes, pop your garden hose pipe inside the bottle and secure with some strong tape, we recommend using the Halfords Heat, Water and Rust Resistant Tape to keep your hose in place. Now you’ve created your upcycled sprinkling system, turn on the taps and watch the water fly high into the sky. Your little ones will love running in and out of the cool water spray!
Once they are done playing with these, move them into your flowerbeds for an easy way to water your plants.
Make a sponge water bomb
If you’ve got older kids and no water guns handy but you still fancy testing their competitive side, then why not try your hand at making sponge water bombs?
All you need is a bucket and a couple of sponges, once you’ve filled up your bucket with cool water, just dip in your sponges, squeeze out the excess and wang them across the garden for a sponge water bomb effect. The sponges won’t cause any damage, but we do recommend moving your flowerpots out of the way before the kids wipe out your floral arrangements!
