Turtle Wax’s Hybrid Solutions Pro line includes three revolutionary new products for car detailers: the To The Max Wax, Flex Wax, and 1 & Done Compound Correct and Finish. The two waxes contain a unique graphene-infused formula, which provides a beautiful web of protection and an intense shine, while 1 & Done is an unstoppable compound that corrects and finishes any paint surface.

In this article, we’re going to take a closer look at these intriguing new products and how the Hybrid Solutions Pro line can help you take your car detailing routine to the next level.

Unreal performance: Hybrid Solutions Pro To The Max Wax

The first product under the spotlight is the Hybrid Solutions Pro To The Max Wax. It’s not only Turtle Wax’s most durable liquid car wax for professionals and enthusiasts alike, but Pro To The Max Wax also contains the company’s unique graphene-infused formula for added protection and shine.

Graphene is a layer of carbon atoms arranged in a honeycomb shape and it provides a beautiful web of protection. When used in car detailing, graphene provides a strong level of chemical resistance and intensifies shine and protection. Turtle Wax has combined graphene with its other key additives, which include super hydrophobic polymers, UV absorbers and chemical resistant polymers, to create a tighter web of protection.

What you see as a user is amazing depth of colour, insane gloss levels, greater chemical resistance, greater water repellence, increased UV protection and increase slickness. All in all, a cleaner, more protected finish.

Key features

  • Durable and professional-grade liquid car wax.
  • Patent-pending graphene infusion creates a tighter web of protection.
  • Easy-on and easy-off liquid includes UV absorbers and shields painted surfaces, preventing discolouration and damage.
  • Chemical resistant, super-hydrophobic polymers glide on easily for maximum gloss, water beading and stain prevention.

How to apply

  1. Begin by washing and rinsing your vehicle thoroughly. If needed, use a clay bar and polish to remove any contaminants, embedded dirt, scratches and swirl marks. You can also use Hybrid Solutions Pro 1 & Done Compound Correct and Finish to remove any paint imperfections you find (more on that later).
  2. Applying by hand: Apply three drops of Pro To The Max Wax to an applicator pad and spread it evenly over a 2’ x 2’ panel in overlapping, circular movements.
  3. Applying by machine: Apply four drops onto a foam buffing pad and slowly spread the wax over a 2’ x 2’ panel using a low setting. It’s really important not to over-apply the wax and to bear in mind that less product will be needed for each section as the applicator pad gets saturated.
  4. Wait 2-3 minutes to allow the product to dry and haze.
  5. With a fresh microfibre towel, wipe any excess wax from your car’s surface. Use light, back-and-forth motions.
  6. Work in 2’ x 2’ sections until you’ve covered the whole surface of the car.
  7. Use a damp microfibre towel to remove any streaks or residual wax and then finish by wiping your car with a dry microfibre towel.

How to maintain

Allow your paint to cure for 24 hours before washing. Then apply an additional coat of Pro To The Max Wax as needed or use Hybrid Solutions Pro Flex Wax to maintain that professional performance and guarantee year-round protection.

Versatile protection: Hybrid Solutions Pro Flex Wax

The second product to explore in the Hybrid Solutions Pro line is Hybrid Solutions Pro Flex Wax. This spray wax also includes Turtle Wax’s unique graphene-infused formula, providing a tighter web of protection, incredible gloss, slickness, a high level of water repellence, UV protection and more.

What sets Pro Flex Wax apart is its versatility. Firstly, the spray can be used to deliver a durable base coating, Secondly, it can be used as a topper to maintain long-last professional performance. And thirdly, it can be used on both dry and wet surfaces for unrivalled defence against UV rays and chemicals.

Key features

  • Durable and professional-grade spray car wax.
  • Patent-pending graphene infusion creates a tighter web of protection.
  • Versatile and can be used as a base coating or topper.
  • Easy-on and easy-off wax can be applied on dry or wet paint, glass, wheels and plastics.
  • Chemical resistant, super-hydrophobic polymers glide on easily for maximum gloss, water beading and stain prevention.

How to apply

  1. Begin by washing and rinsing your vehicle thoroughly. If needed, use clay bar and polish to remove any contaminants, embedded dirt, scratches and swirl marks. You can also use Hybrid Solutions Pro 1 & Done Compound Correct and Finish to remove any paint imperfections you find (more on that later).
  2. Base coat: Dry your car and apply two sprays per panel. Use a clean microfibre cloth to spread and wipe the spray across the surface, then use a separate microfibre cloth to remove any residue. You can also use a damp microfibre cloth to remove any high spots or streaking.
  3. Quick, one-step wax: While your car is still wet, apply two sprays per panel and towel-dry all the treated surfaces. Finally, use a damp microfibre cloth to remove any streaking or residue.
  4. Rinse wax: While your car is still wet, apply two sprays per panel. Starting at the roof, use a strong stream of water to spread and rinse the wax. Towel-dry all the treated surface and use a damp microfibre cloth to remove any streaking or residue.

Quick perfection: 1 & Done Compound Correct and Finish

The final product in the Hybrid Solutions Pro line is the Hybrid Solutions Pro 1 & Done Compound Correct and Finish. The precision platelet technology within this protect allows professional detailers and enthusiasts alike to correct and finish any paint surface without having to switch products.

With the Pro 1 & Done Compound you can eliminate deep scratches and swirl marks while adding a wet, reflective polish to any clear coat. 2. Apply 3-4 drops of compound onto a wool pad or heavy cutting foam pad.

  4. Remove any excess product with a clean, dry microfibre cloth.
  5. For final polishing, apply a further 3-4 drops of compound to a medium polishing or light finishing pad.
  6. Spread the product evenly over a 2’ x 2’ panel, applying light-to-medium pressure in a crosshatch pattern. Once again, it’s important to use the appropriate speed and pad for the type of polisher that you’re using.
