To support those who have been forced to self-isolate and who have therefore potentially missed their MOT retest appointment, we’re waiving the usual MOT rebooking fee.
Ordinarily, our MOT retest fees are free, if they occur within 10 days of an MOT fail. However, we’ll be allowing drivers who have failed their MOT, but cannot come into an Autocentre for a retest within 10 days due to self-isolation, a chance to come in for another appointment without paying the normal £35 cost.
Andy Randall, the Managing Director of our Autocentres says: “We are monitoring the potential impact of the coronavirus and want to do as much as possible to help keep the nation moving at this critical time. We’re looking at each situation on a case-by-case basis and are pledging to waive the MOT retest fee for anyone who, because of Coronavirus, misses the 10-day window to get a free retest, following a fail.”
To find out more and re-book your MOT if you’re affected please contact your local Autocentre.
