While keeping your car insured might not be the most exciting task, it’s certainly one that we’re all keen to save money on. To keep our members motoring for less, we’ve teamed up with Motoreasy to offer up to 20% off GAP, Alloy, and Cosmetic insurance. Here’s an explanation of how each policy works:
GAP (Guaranteed Asset Protection) Insurance
A Guaranteed Asset Protection policy ensures that you aren’t left out of pocket if your car is declared a ‘total loss’ – that means if the car needs to be totally replaced, (stolen or written off for example).
GAP insurance covers you for the difference between the amount your insurance provider will pay out and the amount a new or equivalent model would cost you. A new cars’ value depreciates as soon as it’s handed over to its owner, so an insurer usually won’t pay out what you paid for the car. GAP insurance covers you for this difference.
Alloy Wheel Insurance
In the event that you damage or scratch your alloy wheels, this policy covers the cost of repairing them, without having to claim through your main insurer.
Cosmetic/Repair Insurance
This policy covers the cost of cosmetic repairs to your vehicle’s bodywork or appearance without having to claim through your main insurer.

Free Extended Car Warranty with MotorEasy
