We’re excited to announce that we’re relaunching our e-bike trial programme, which gives customers up and down the country the chance to take an e-bike for a trial run.
If you’ve ever wondered if an e-bike is right for you, or pondered which one to choose, then this is the perfect opportunity to try before you buy.
How it works
Follow the simple steps below to book your free trial, collect your bike and return it again.
1. Book a trial online
The first step is to book a trial online at your local store. To do this, visit our e-bike trial finder and enter your postcode. This will bring up a list of your local stores and after selecting a store, you can browse the list of e-bikes that are available (you’ll also be able to view further details about them if you wish). Select the bike you want, along with the date for your trial, and book the slot.
2. Collect your trial bike
On the date of your trial, visit your local store five minutes before your collection slot to pick up your trial bike. One of our in-store colleagues will take a £101 deposit, which will be refunded once you’ve returned the bike*. The trial can last up to 6 hours.
3. Return your trial bike
Return the e-bike to your local store before the store closes. You can either exchange it for your deposit or your deposit can be deducted from the price of an e-bike if you decide to purchase one. Our colleagues will be happy to answer any questions you might have and will also prepare the trial bike for its next appointment.

We’re including a range of our most popular bikes in the trial programme, which are mix of disciplines and sizes to help you find the perfect fit.
You’ll be able to choose between them when you book your trial, although it’s important to note that their availability will depend on the stock in your area. You can use our e-bike trial finder to see what bikes are available near you.
